Morning weight was 229.4.  Very hot and humid here and not conducive to much outdoor activity, unless you're up at the 'crack of dawn'.  May go back to the gym for the Summer.  Got nauseous and a little light headed yesterday playing golf. The 'felt' temp was over 100 and the humidity was near the same.  Not my cup of tea.  Feeling a bit better mentally.  Bill, I'm ever impressed with your depth of commitment to self improvement.  When I grow up I want to be just like you!!

  1. Welcome back. The more you eat, the more you want to eat. Right now, my life feels like it's centered around my training. That includes when, what, and how much I eat. On days off, when I am sedentary, I eat next to nothing. Yesterday, a protein shake, a two egg sandwich, some nuts and fruit. Certainly less than 1000 cal. Coffee with sugar is an excellent appetite suppressant. Just being on your feet for long periods is good. You might consider trying to acclimatize to the heat and finding a shady place to walk. Several hours of chair and couch do you no good.

  2. Thanks..... I'll try to adjust my bedtime and wake up first. That may make a difference insofar as 'early activity', which perhaps should be in my future. I actually see folks walking past my house early some mornings in he dark. Haven't done much in terms of 'real exercise' yet. Trying to reduce intake first and am doing it, at least for, FOUR DAYS.
